The 2010 model year marks the end of the line of the second generation Dodge Viper, and most likely total the end of the snake. From the original concept car debuted in 1989, the Viper has embodied the American spirit of reckless excess. Captured the imagination of car enthusiasts and manages to draw attention today. The Viper is as it always has been, a field of wild animals by road is also difficult to drive because it is rewarding. Price of 2010 Dodge Viper Coupe from $91,005

Competition has been quite intense lately in this segment of the auto industry. Popular manufacturers have redesigned their trucks for 2011 and as a result everyone is stepping up with their A-game. What makes the Dodge Ram especially unique is the fact that it is the only heavy duty truck to be powered by a six cylinder turbo diesel engine. There will always be die hard enthusiasts who insist on their truck being powered by a V8 only. Well know this: the engine puts out 650 pound feet of torque, 350 HP and can tow more than any other truck on the market.. The Dodge also easily passes federal pollution standards.

The Dodge Journey is Dodge's first car-based SUV; the Journey is built on the Chrysler Sebring/Dodge Avenger platform. The Journey can be optioned with one of two engines: the base 2.4L 4 cylinder or an optional 3.5L 6 cylinder. The 2.4L 4 cylinder engine is a dual overhead cam unit with sequential fuel injection. The only transmission available is a 4-speed automatic with overdrive. The transmission delivers the engine's power to the front wheels;the Journey is currently not available with all wheel drive when fitted with the 2.4L 4 cylinder engine. The engine delivers one hundred seventy-three horsepower at six thousand revolutions per minute, and torque output is one hundred sixty-six pound feet at four thousand revolutions per minute. The engine returns nineteen miles per gallon in city driving, and twenty-five miles per gallon on the highway.

With this in mind, I could barely muster a gnat's whisper of excitement when told I was to be testing the new Dodge Journey. Without ever seeing a picture or footage of this vehicle, I had automatically painted a visual image of how it would look in my mind. It would be a huge, clunking 4X4, with scant regard for neither environment nor pedestrians. It would handle like an incontinent Ox; unrelentingly uncooperative and sluggish at best.

As far as I was concerned, American cars never fail to disappoint when applied to the British highways. The propensity for bulky, uneconomical Goliaths, designed solely it would seem to intimidate other road users, leaves this driver a little cold. In these, the eco-conscious noughties, vehicles are hailed for excellent MPG ratings, low carbon emissions and for keeping things small. Adversely, the American vehicles that have made it to these shores are often derided for their big-time sensibilities; all gargantuan, 0.6 Miles to the gallon, petrol-glugging, fume-wafting behemoths that fail to appeal to the more delicate British constitution.

These fuel economy figures are the best in the Journey's class when comparing U.S. Environmental Protection Agency figures for each vehicle. The optional V6 engine returns sixteen miles per gallon in city driving, and twenty-four miles per gallon on the highway. Power figures for the V6 are two hundred thirty-four horsepower at six thousand four hundred revolutions per minute, and torque output is two hundred thirty-two pound feet at four thousand revolutions per minute. Other features found on the Journey include standard anti-lock brakes, a DVD/video entertainment system, power mirrors, power windows, and power locks. Storage bins under the front-passenger seat cushion and in the second row floor are unique to this vehicle class, and very useful.

The Grand Caravan R/T we'll see is not much different from the concept minivan shown at auto shows. This model won't even have a different engine or transmission, but with the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 under the hood paired with its six-speed automatic transmission, Dodge hopes that its 283 horsepower rating and 260 pound-feet of torque will have you thinking you're behind the wheel of a Charger, Avenger or Challenger. Go ahead - pretend you're driving a Viper although that sort of mind stretch may mean that you're delusional!

Chrysler has been credited with starting the minivan movement and when the two remaining models are combined (Plymouth was discontinued in 2001), these models still manage to outsell the competition. Yet, appealing to guys has not been its strong suit, something the Dodge Grand Caravan R/T aims to change.

If you don't think the Caliber is for you, consider looking at the Honda Fit. The Fit has a versatile cargo area, strong performance and build quality that some reviewers say is bullet-proof. It also starts at about $1,000 less than the Caliber. If you want standout styling similar to the Caliber's, check out the Scion xB. While it doesn't have as good a cargo capacity when the rear seat is in place, its aggressive looks that keep up with the Caliber's in-your-face exterior

The 2010 Dodge Caliber redefines the whole idea of an entry-level vehicle. It comes with high value as well as bold styling that is unmistakably a Dodge and a very flexible interior that is the delight of its passengers. This vehicle has been designed so as to target the fancy of people and consumers who are opting for a Dodge attitude as well as the capability and versatility that a sports car could only hold. However, despite these, the 2010 Dodge Caliber still retains the affordability and excellent fuel efficiency of an entry level vehicle. This vehicle gives its owners the flexibility to seat more friends and family as well as store in more packages and stuff in its rear storage area.
Dodge Caliber's in-your-face exterior

Gone for 2010 is something that may have lured in buyers: Dodge's lifetime powertrain warranty. In its place are some innovative interior options, like Dodge's uConnect infotainment system and an in-glovebox cooler. However, if you want the full hot-hatch package of utility, performance and quality, most reviewers say you should shop elsewhere.

This vehicle sports five doors. It has a profile that is very much like a combination of a sports car and a coupe. Yet, it also has the strength, stance, and great functionality of a sports utility vehicle. The 2011 Dodge Caliber has a very sheer surface treatment. This evokes attention and exudes just what a Dodge is - bold, powerful, capable, and very street smart. Unmistakably, the 2011 Dodge Caliber is totally a Dodge vehicle.
