Saab is no longer part of the GM matrix, having been sold by the Detroit-based automaker in early 2010 to Spyker, N.A., a Dutch supercar maker. That move in itself has presented some problems, an issue which we'll explore shortly. Saab, the Swedish automaker, has been given a new lease on life. How that plays out down the road remains to be seen.
